2024 Valentine’s Day Card Drive for Seniors

Please join us in our Valentine’s Day card project this year to make an impact on isolated seniors in nursing homes.

Amid a pandemic that has stretched on for years, many older and disabled adults living in long-term care facilities have continued to suffer from isolation and depression. Connecting to others, even if remotely, can help contribute to improved mental and social health outcomes.

The Council on Aging – Southern California has partnered with Moore Law for Children to let our seniors know they are valued, loved, and not forgotten.

Approximately 45,000 elderly and disabled adults live in long-term care facilities in Orange and Riverside Counties and 50% have no friend or family member actively involved in their care.

With your help, we can achieve our goal to create and deliver 4,000 Valentine’s Day cards!
